Facility Management is a profession as diverse as the people, places and processes of the workplace. It calls upon a broad set of skills and expertise. One of the significant benefits of IFMA and the San Diego Chapter in particular is the network of skills and expertise that each member becomes a part of.

IFMA San Diego is a volunteer organization dedicated to enhancing the performance and professional growth of our members through networking, education and promoting the practice of facilities management.

Through educational programs, networking, career support and communications, the IFMA San Diego objective is to be the premier organization for facility management professionals.

Chartered in April 1988, IFMA San Diego has grown consistently, with membership representing more than 170 of San Diego’s best known, best run and most respected companies, institutions, universities and providers to the building and facility management industry.

Currently our membership has grown to over 375.

IFMA San Diego is guided by the strategic direction and principles of the international organization and by the chapter strategic plan.
