Academic Outreach

The goal of the Academic Outreach committee is to foster local talent to help backfill positions that will be vacated in the next 5-8 years by retiring facilities managers. This is accomplished by working with academic institutions to develop a local accredited facility management degree program and with existing programs (such as “ACE”) that reach out to high school and college students to make them aware of the career opportunities in facility management.

Golf Invitational & Fundraiser

IFMA San Diego isseeking volunteers to assist in executing one San Diego’s premier golf events, while supporting the Ronald McDonald House. The sponsorship committee works in coordination with the Education & Professional Development and Special Event committees to obtain sponsorship funds, services and products for events, raffles and other identified needs.
